Gulab Jamun Recipe: Add 100-120 ml of milk to Satvam Gulab Jamun mix and make a dough. Let the dough rest for 5 mins. Ghee your palms and roll the dough until it is soft. Make 40 round shaped Jamuns from the dough.
Heat ghee in a vessel (Kadai). Initially to check the correct frying temperature, put one Jamun in ghee. If the Jamun comes up slowly in ghee, add all the Jamuns. (If the Jamun comes up immediately, let the ghee cool down a bit).
Fry till light brown on a slow flame. Soak the Jamuns in a vessel containing sugar syrup for 30 mins
Preparation of Sugar Syrup: Add 720 gms of sugar to 720 ml of water and heat. Stir till the sugar is completely dissolved and let it boil for 5 mins.
To make the Gulab Jamun tastier add cardamom powder and saffron to the sugar syrup.
